Dr. Vincent Chiew
Dr. Vincent Chiew is a principal consultant for Axis Cogni-Solve Ltd with almost 30 years of industry experience. He provides security consulting, engineering, and training services. He started his career as an engineer building critical infrastructures and providing essential services to various sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, and water. Now he protects them by securing enterprise systems, industrial controls systems, and limited military systems. He gives back to the community by teaching courses and presenting topics related to penetration testing, cyber crime, network security, information security, industrial control systems security, threat risk assessment, business continuity, and critical infrastructure protections. He graduated from the University of Calgary with degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, and computer science. He is a licensed, registered, permitted, and certified professional in engineering, information technology, information systems, systems security, software security, quality, fieldbus, and project management. Finally, he also served as security expert and advisor for various professional associations, institutions, law enforcement, Canadian Standards Association, and Standard Council of Canada.
